Job Postings
Do you have an SLP job to post? There are three ways to share job opportunities with our grads.
- Post the job on our internal posting board for recent grads, Oscar Plus – Job Postings.
- Email the posting to askslp@mcmaster.ca and ask us to share your job posting on the McMaster SLP Alumni Facebook page (private group).
- Take part in the annual OT/PT/SLP Job Fair – contact the Job Fair Representatives for more information.
Credentialing
Former students seeking to practice in another country can submit a credentialing request. A credentialing request is made when a former student requires documentation for a Credentialing Organization to verify the education received relevant to the country/state specific requirements of which they intend to practice.
FEES:
- Simple requests (single form, confirmation of enrolment): $150 CDN
- Complex requests (multiple forms, requirements to pull records to fulfill the request): $350 – $600 CDN
- Complex request, plus curriculum mapping (multiple forms, requirement to pull records, and mapping the curriculum to another country’s professional standards): $4,500 – $7,000 CDN
PAYMENT:
- McMaster University will send the applicant an invoice. The credentialing request will only be processed upon receipt of payment.
